EPL: Neto reveals how Jorge Jesus helped him score 2 goals in Chelsea’s win against Everton

Chelsea forward, Pedro Neto has credited Portugal head coach, Jorge Jesus for improving his composure in goal-scoring situations.
The Portuguese footballer explained that the manager had instructed him to direct the ball into the net with precision rather than relying solely on striking power.
Following Chelsea’s 2-0 victory over Everton, Neto discussed his improved finishing on TNT Sports, attributing the development to Jesus and expressing satisfaction with his progress.
He said, “This comes a little bit from the new coach of the national team, who says when you are near the area, you need to pass to the goal, so really happy with that.”
Regarding the match outcome, Neto emphasised the importance of keeping a clean sheet. He acknowledged the difficulty of the contest at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, saying:
“We required a clean sheet, to be frank. I believe we delivered an excellent performance. Emi merited this achievement, as did Mike. It carries considerable importance.
“We recognise that away fixtures present challenges; even domestic matches offer no guarantees of ease.
“We approached this encounter with determination and strong resolve to secure victory, and we are genuinely satisfied with the outcome.”
