LaLiga: I would have left Real Madrid if I were Vinicius Junior – Mourinho

He asserted that the Brazilian’s decision to remain in a country and league where he experiences a lack of respect merits recognition, particularly as he endeavors to demonstrate his worth to detractors.
During his post match press briefing ahead Real Madrid game against Sevilla, Mourinho emphasized that Vinicius Jr maintains a deep affinity for Real Madrid and his attachment to the city constituted a significant factor in his decision to remain.
He further noted that the Brazilian forward possessed the capability to orchestrate a transfer during the summer months, yet chose to persist despite persistent challenges and mistreatment throughout the country.
He said, “He said, “Vinicius is a spectacular guy, and it’s easy to have a good relationship with him.
“I spend a few minutes alone with him every single day. I value him tremendously because he always manages to get by, to survive, with a smile on his face.
“If I were [Vinícius], in his place, I wouldn’t still be here. Last summer I would have forced my exit to a league, to a country, to clubs and stadiums where they’d respect him.”
“However, given his devotion to Madrid, his emotional connection to the club and the city, and his conviction that circumstances will continue to change favorably, he renewed his contract and preserves that positive outlook.
“I believe nothing and no individual possesses the capacity to diminish that enthusiasm for existence and professional engagement. He exemplifies an outstanding individual.
Mourinho further elaborated that Vinicius Jr possessed multiple alternatives available to him during the summer period, should he have chosen to pursue a transfer. He continued:
