EPL: Why Man Utd lost 1-0 to Man City – Carrick

Manchester United manager, Michael Carrick, has admitted his team did not create enough to get a result against Manchester City.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to City thanks to a controversial Erling Haaland goal in the second half.
But United played most of the game with a one-man advantage after Phil Foden was sent off in the 25th minute.
And Carrick believes they should have done more.
He told Sky Sports: “We did a lot of things well, it looked like we were growing well into the game. We looked dangerous.
“We’ll take the positives from the game today and move on well, but we’re not moving on lightly.
“We could have created more. That’s an answer for us, but we could have.
“That’s our second defeat now, since I’ve been in charge, but we’re a good team and we’ll get back to wining ways.”
