EPL: ‘They’re not strong enough’ – Paul Scholes criticises two Man Utd players
Manchester United legend, Paul Scholes, has criticised midfielders Kobbie Mainoo and Youri Tielemans following the Red Devils’ Premier League 1-1 draw with Fulham on Sunday.
Scholes insisted that Mainoo and Tielemans are not strong enough to win the ball back from opponents.
The former England midfielder stated this on “The Good, The Bad & The Football” podcast.
“I don’t think Mainoo and Tielemans could ever really win the ball back. They are never really strong enough to win the ball back.
“Technically brilliant, they can pass the ball. But when it comes to the hard, dirty work in a game, they just don’t have that quality.”
Man United currently sit in 12th position on the Premier League table with five points after the Fulham match.
