2027: “Igbos will do everything to re-elect Tinubu” – Cubana Chief Priest reveals why

Socialite and businessman Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has declared that Igbos will do everything possible to ensure President Bola Tinubu is re-elected in 2027.
Cubana Chief Priest made the statement while addressing supporters in Imo State, where he serves as the state director of the City Boy Movement, a political support group backing Tinubu’s administration.
According to him, Igbos now have access to the President through his son, Seyi Tinubu, which he claimed is one of the reasons for their support for Tinubu’s second-term bid.
“We Igbos now have access to Mr. President Tinubu through his son, Seyi Tinubu. That’s why we’re doing everything to make sure he’s re-elected.”
He also claimed that thousands of residents in Imo were registering with the All Progressives Congress (APC), while praising the City Boy Movement for what he described as a new approach to political mobilisation.
Cubana Chief Priest urged supporters to combine lifestyle with political activities, insisting that Imo State was firmly behind Tinubu and APC.
“Ndi Imo don’t just love the City Boys Movement, they believe in it. Let’s do politics with lifestyle. On Asiwaju’s mandate, we shall stand. Imo is APC. Here, it’s zero competition,” he added.
His comments come as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the APC and opposition groups stepping up mobilisation efforts across the country.
Cubana Chief Priest has remained a prominent supporter of Tinubu and has been involved in political mobilisation through the City Boy Movement.
