2026 U-20 WWC: NFF denies Falconets training boycott rumours

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has debunked reports that the Falconets are planning to boycott training ahead of their clash with Colombia, DAILY POST reports.
There were reports that the players were planning to down tools ahead of the quarter-final fixture.
The NFF has however moved to quash the reports describing it as falsehood.
“Reports in a section of the media that the Falconets are planning to boycott training is absolute falsehood.
“The girls are now heading to training for their last session before tomorrow’s match against Colombia,” an NFF statement read.
The Falconets thrashed England 3-0 to book a place in the quarter-finals.
They will battle Colombia for a place in the semi-final at the Stadion Miejski LKS, Lodz, on Sunday.
