“You’ll fly her in, lodge her and still give her ₦3m” – Lady questions men’s spending on women for sexual pleasure

A Nigerian lady has questioned the amount of money some men spend on women they want to have romantic encounters with, highlighting the expenses involved in bringing a woman from another state.

Speaking in a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she described a situation where a man in Lagos would pay for a woman’s flight from Edo State to Lagos before taking her to a restaurant, buying her food and arranging accommodation for them.

In her word, she said:

“Only you will pay a lady’s flight, maybe the girl is in Edo State and you’re Lagos. You will pay her flight from Edo to Lagos. The girl will still reach, and you will take her to restaurant to buy food for her. You will feed her well, buy shawarma, jollof rice and turkey and barbecue, and still lodge her in an apartment.”

She noted that the man would then spend more money on the woman after they had spent time together, with the amount depending on how wealthy he was.

The lady questioned why anyone would spend so much money simply to satisfy a temporary desire, describing the expenses as unnecessary.

“Una two go enjoy each other. After that one, you will still give her money, 2 or 3 million, depending on how rich you are. All this just because you want to satisfy your urge. See money wey you just dey spend, just dey waste money on top woman wey no be your own,” she said.

Her comments have generated discussion online, with some social media users agreeing that the expenses can quickly add up, while others argued that people should be free to spend their money however they choose.
