Messi Nets Four As Inter Miami Thrash Montreal 7-1

Lionel Messi delivered another sensational performance as Inter Miami cruised to a convincing 7-1 victory over Montreal, with the Argentine scoring four goals in a dominant attacking display.

Inter Miami took control early, with Brazilian midfielder Casemiro opening the scoring with his first goal for the club despite featuring at centre-back. From there, however, the spotlight quickly shifted to Messi, who produced another masterclass.

Messi doubled the advantage with a powerful free-kick that left the Montreal goalkeeper with little chance before adding a stunning solo effort. The Argentine picked up the ball, weaved past three defenders and calmly finished to underline his individual brilliance.

The World Cup winner then turned provider, setting up Luis Suarez for Inter Miami’s next goal before completing his hat-trick with another clinical finish.

Montreal struggled to cope with Inter Miami’s relentless pressure, and the home side added another goal late in the contest. Messi then saved his best for last, curling home another superb free-kick to complete his four-goal haul.

The performance once again showcased Messi’s extraordinary qualities, combining clinical finishing, creativity, dribbling ability and set-piece excellence as Inter Miami secured a commanding victory.
