Israel Donates Ambulances, Other Medical Equipment To Nigeria
Israel has donated the first batch of ambulances, medical equipment and wheelchairs to Nigeria, in a move aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery and emergency response. Israel has donated the first batch of ambulances, medical equipment and wheelchairs to Nigeria, in a move aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery and emergency response.
The equipment, donated by Israel’s national emergency medical service on behalf of the Israeli Government, was received by Nigeria’s Ambassador to Israel, Nkechi Ufochukwu, at the Port of Ashdod.
The donation is expected to support hospitals and emergency centres across Nigeria, particularly in underserved communities, while further strengthening bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and Israel in healthcare, humanitarian assistance and technology transfer.
