The leadership and members of the BTO for PBAT ’27 Support Group have commended the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his efforts towards strengthening party unity, grassroots mobilisation and reconciliation within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State.
In a statement, the group said Tunji-Ojo had demonstrated that sustainable political strength depends not only on influence but also on unity, inclusion, reconciliation and respect for party stakeholders.
It particularly praised the minister’s advocacy for peace and cohesion within the APC, saying a united political family would be better positioned to secure electoral victories at all levels.
The group also acknowledged Tunji-Ojo’s efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and promote the ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda across Ondo State.
It urged APC members and support groups to prioritise the collective success of the party, stressing that the political task ahead should extend beyond individual ambitions to include the President, National Assembly candidates and State House of Assembly candidates.
According to the group, achieving what it described as the “politics of collective victory” requires unity, discipline, reconciliation and a shared commitment to the party’s success.
It called on APC leaders, youths, women, support groups and grassroots stakeholders across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State to embrace reconciliation and collective responsibility ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group also praised Tunji-Ojo’s leadership at the Federal Ministry of Interior, describing his record as one focused on reforms, innovation, institutional development and measurable results.
It said his bridge-building approach to politics had helped promote relationships, reconciliation and mutual respect among party stakeholders.
The support group reaffirmed its commitment to mobilising support for President Tinubu and the APC ahead of the 2027 elections, while urging members to place the collective interest of the party above personal differences.
