“You can’t disrespect my wife and get away with it” — Father sends teenage son back to Nigeria after he insulted his mother

A lady has shared a story about a father who sent his teenage son back to Nigeria after the boy repeatedly disrespected his mother while the family lived in the United Kingdom.

According to the narrator, the man had relocated his wife and their 14-year-old son to the UK. However, about five years later, the teenager reportedly began talking back to his mother and refusing to obey her.

She claimed the situation escalated when the boy allegedly shouted at his mother during a disciplinary session and addressed her by her full name instead of showing respect.

Father reportedly took decisive action

The woman said, “Rita Okoji you’re a bad mom.”

According to her, the father initially told his wife to stop arguing with the teenager, giving no indication that he planned to intervene immediately.

She further narrated that about three weeks later, the father asked his son to accompany him to the airport, where the man’s brother was reportedly waiting to receive the teenager before he was sent back to Nigeria.

Later, she quoted the father as saying, “You can’t disrespect my wife and get away with it.”

Story sparks debate online

According to the woman, the father decided that his son would complete his university education in Nigeria before returning to the UK.

She added that the young man is currently a 300-level student at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).

The story has generated mixed reactions on social media. While some users praised the father’s decision as a firm lesson in respect and discipline, others questioned whether sending the teenager away was the most appropriate response.
