“My 24-year-old girlfriend told me, ‘babe don’t you have sense?’”

A 37-year-old man has sparked reactions online after expressing his disappointment over a comment allegedly made by his 24-year-old girlfriend during a disagreement.

In a video shared on social media, the man said he was shocked that someone much younger than him could speak to him in such a manner, adding that even his younger siblings would not address him that way.

Man Reacts to Young Girlfriend’s Comment

According to him, he will turn 37 in September and believes he deserves more respect from his partner regardless of their disagreement.

He explained that the remark caught him off guard because none of his siblings would ever speak to him in such a way.

Despite expressing his frustration, the man admitted he admired his girlfriend but felt she should have communicated her point differently.

“Can you imagine a 24-year-old girl telling me, ‘Babe, don’t you have sense?’ Eeeh, I’ll be 37 by September.

“Even my immediate younger brother Steve wouldn’t dare say such a thing to me. Bola, Jide, Aderewa can’t try that with me. Donkelly and Kehinde wouldn’t tell me something like that.

“But this babe has a nice bum, though. She shouldn’t have used the words ‘you don’t have sense.’ She could have said, ‘Babe, you’re not thinking straight,’ and I would have said I’m sorry.”
