EPL: Xabi Alonso a breath of fresh air – Cole Palmer

Chelsea midfielder, Cole Palmer, has hailed the appointment of Xabi Alonso as the team’s new head coach.
Alonso has been brought in to replace Liam Rosenior as a permanent manager.
Palmer, who has started working with the Spaniard in preseason, has hailed the former Real Madrid boss as “a breath of fresh air”.
He said: “Xabi Alonso has been a breath of fresh air for us as players.
“We are very happy, we like his ideas.”
Palmer also spoke about new signing Morgan Rogers, who cost Chelsea a British record 117 fee.
He joked about Rogers using his goal celebrations at Stamford Bridge.
““I have trademarked the celebration… so if Morgan Rogers tries to do anything, bailiffs at his door,” Palmer said.
“Jokes aside, we’ll probably do the celebration together.”
