How Do You Fight Insurgency Without Guns; GEJ Had No Nation To Go To And Buy These Things- Ayodele Oritsejafor
Former Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) President, Pastor Ayodele Oritsejafor, has defended the efforts of former President Goodluck Jonathan in tackling terrorism, saying according to him, the ex-leader faced serious limitations while trying to combat insurgency in Nigeria.
The cleric explained that the lack of access to arms and ammunition created major challenges for the government, making it difficult for security forces to effectively confront terrorist groups operating in the country at the time.
He alleged that countries such as Israel, the United Kingdom and France were approached by an influential figure and discouraged from selling weapons to Jonathan’s administration.
