A lady has taken to social media to share her brother’s reaction after the pastor preached against his kind of physical appearance in a Congolese church.
The young lady identified as @marieange684 on TikTok shared a clip of the church service, revealing the pastor preaching in his Congolese accent with a female English translator on the altar.
The pastor was captured preaching against men, who imitate the qualities of a woman as their lifestyle. He noted that a man should not wear earrings or style their hair, and her brother was wearing dreadlocks and had a pierced ear with a silver stud earring.
The Congolese pastor said,
“You are not going to be disrespectful to your parents, you are not meant to pierce your ears like a girl, you are not meant to do your hair like a girl”
Upon hearing the pastor’s sermon, the lady immediately panned the camera to her brother to reveal his physical appearance which was against the Christian doctrine according to their pastor.
Her brother was seated quietly, smiling sheepishly while the congregation looked in his direction.
Some Internet users speculated her brother wouldn’t attend the church after listening to the pastor’s sermon against his appearance while others stated the church shouldn’t judge its member’s lifestyle.
