Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has expressed his deepest condolences to the Etsu Nupe, Chairman of the State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, and the people of Bida Emirate over the death of a cabinet member of the Emirate Council, Alhaji Abubakar Dyadya, the Ndaiji Nupe.
The Governor, in a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, described the late Ndaiji Nupe as a humble and straightforward personality, adding that his death is a monumental loss to the Emirate, the Nupe kingdom, and the state at large.
He recounted how the deceased has served humanity right from the defunct Sokoto North Western State to the Niger State Government during his service years.
The governor also acknowledged that the late Ndaiji Nupe had used his title as Ndaiji Nupe to promote the values and cultural heritage of the Nupe Kingdom.
He said that indeed, a vacuum has been created by his demise, but that he believes that Allah, who has allowed it to happen, is capable of filling it up.
While commiserating with Etsu Nupe and all his cabinet members over the huge loss, the governor prayed to Allah to forgive all the shortcomings of the late Ndaiji Nupe and grant his soul to Aljannah Firdausi.
He also prayed to Allah to comfort his family members and all those affected by the demise of the traditional title holder.
The late Abubakar Dyadya was born on the 13th of April, 1939.
He was a seasoned administrator and served in many establishments in Sokoto North Western State and also in the Niger State Government, where he held various positions in different Ministries and Parastatals.

Until his death, he was among the Kingmakers of Bida Emirate from the Ndaiji Aminu Dynasty and has been the Ndaiji Nupe for the past 11 years.
He is survived by wives, children and grandchildren.
