‘How family, faith communities, govt can abate domestic violence in society’

Family, faith communities, and the government have been advised on how to abate or eradicate domestic violence in society.

This was stated on Thursday during the public presentation and launch of a book titled “Domestic Violence and Faith Integration in Nigeria,” held at the Afe Babalola Centre in Iyaganku, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The event was well attended by religious leaders, representatives of the government, and legal luminaries, including the Oyo state chief judge, Justice Iyabo Yerima, who was represented by Justice Adenike Adeeyo of the High Court of Justice, Oyo, among others, who all converged in the hall to launch and also discuss how domestic violence can be eradicated in society.
