A video showing the moment a man accidentally broke a church altar while leading a prayer session has gone viral on social media, sparking mixed reactions from viewers.

In the viral video, the man was seen singing passionately while leading the congregation in prayer. Other church members joined him in the worship session as he continued singing and praying.

As the prayer session intensified, the man began hitting the glass altar with his left hand while singing. However, the altar suddenly broke and shattered on the floor.

The incident appeared to catch the man by surprise, with the moment prompting amusement and debate among social media users.

Public reactions

The video, shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Ekititrends, attracted several comments from users who expressed different views about the incident.

E. A. Oginni questioned whether the man was still caught up in the moment of prayer when he reacted to the broken altar.

“Wait, that last haaa that he shouted, was he still in the spirit or he was shocked?” Oginni wrote.
