“He told the waitress…” – Lady narrates a shocking encounter with her date after refusing to follow him home

A Nigerian lady has stirred reactions online after sharing a shocking dating experience that quickly took an unexpected turn.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by @mazi_chinonso, she narrated that the date started normally until the man began making uncomfortable suggestions.

In her words, she said:

“I went on a date and he was like, ‘After this, where are we going?’ I was like, ‘We? We’re not going anywhere. I’m going home.’

He asked if he should come with me, saying he wanted to see my house, chill, and maybe spend the night. I told him no. I don’t like people coming to my house, and I wasn’t going to his either.”

She explained that the man appeared to accept her response at first and went quiet, making her think the matter had ended.

However, moments later, she said things took a surprising turn when he suddenly called the waitress and asked her to pack the food she was eating.

According to the lady, she found the action embarrassing and unnecessary, but chose to laugh it off rather than cause a scene.

She said she calmly left the restaurant, noting that the man didn’t even offer to drop her off or check on her afterward.

“Thank God I had food at home. I just went home,” she concluded.

The incident has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many social media users criticizing the man’s behavior and applauding the lady for setting clear boundaries.
