Gov. Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State on Tuesday congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 59th birthday, describing him as a dependable and loyal leader.
In a message signed by his media aide, Ismaila Isah, in Lokoja, Ododo hailed the Vice President for his humility, courage, and deep sense of loyalty, noting that those qualities distinguished him among Nigeria’s leaders.
According to the governor, Shettima’s friendship and support go beyond politics, rooted instead in trust, consistency, and genuine concern for him and the people of Kogi State.
“The Vice President is a dependable leader and a true friend of Kogi.
“He has stood by me and the people of the state in moments of celebration and in difficult times, offering strength, guidance, and support,” Ododo stated.
He also commended Shettima’s unwavering commitment to Nigeria’s progress and noted that his partnership with President Bola Tinubu under the Renewed Hope Agenda continued to inspire confidence in the nation’s future.
Ododo prayed for Almighty God to grant the Vice President long life, good health, and greater wisdom to continue serving the country with distinction. (NAN)
