JUST IN: APC youth wing launches ₦1million competition for young Nigerians
The All Progressives Congress (APC) youth wing has unveiled #COMMUNICODE2025, a virtual competition designed to empower young Nigerians with cash and gift prizes worth over ₦1 million.
The contest, led by Dayo Israel, national youth leader of the APC, challenges Nigerians aged 16 to 25 to pitch innovative solutions that harness the digital economy to tackle everyday problems in their communities.
Israel said the initiative, themed“Digital Economy & You”, aims to showcase creativity while building a new generation of digital leaders.
His words: “The digital economy is the future, and our youth are its architects.
“Through #COMMUNICODE, we are providing a tangible pathway for young innovators to not only showcase their talent but also contribute to solving real-world challenges.”
Winners will be chosen by a panel of experts based on creativity, practicality, and potential impact.
The grand prize winner will receive ₦500,000, a laptop, mentorship, and training sponsorship. Second place takes home ₦300,000 with mentorship and training, while the third-place winner will earn ₦200,000 with similar benefits.
Registration is open until Friday, September 5, 2025.
