Nollywood actress, Ekene Umenwa, is filled with joy as her daughter, Ekenechukwu, celebrates her first birthday today.
Taking to Instagram, the actress penned an emotional tribute to her little girl, whom she described as her “womb opener” and “covenant child.” Umenwa expressed deep gratitude to God for blessing her with such a cheerful and calm child, adding that motherhood has given her a clearer understanding of God’s love.
“You are blessed forever my baby, you are protected from all harm and evil. Your guardian angel, St. Michael, will always defend you now and always,” she wrote, while praying that her daughter will grow in wisdom, love, and become an instrument of God in her generation.
The actress also appreciated friends, family, and creatives who contributed to making the day special, including Big Deal Babies Studio, Big Deal Weddings, Big Deal Studio, and Berryl Signature, who designed her daughter’s outfit.
