Amid intensifying demands for justice following the tragic death of Nigerian singer Ilerioluwa Imole Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, previously unseen videos and tweets have resurfaced online, casting new light on his troubled final days.
One particularly alarming video shows the late singer visibly distressed sweating and running while expressing fear for his life. He clearly stated that should anything happen to him, Marlian Records should be held accountable. As he cried out to God for help, voices in the background appeared to try and hush him, but Mohbad defiantly said he was ready to report to the authorities if needed.
Another clip reveals Mohbad nursing injuries on his head and body, with a woman in the background weeping and alleging that Sam Larry was responsible for the harm done to him.
In a separate recording, an eyewitness describes an incident that reportedly took place at De Chandelier Hotel, where Naira Marley and Sam Larry allegedly seized Mohbad’s phone. Background voices could be heard confirming the narration.
Old tweets from the singer further detail his ordeal. He disclosed that his request to switch managers triggered an assault by individuals linked to Marlian Records. He named Tunde, Naira Marley’s brother and his manager at the time, as one of the attackers, adding that the incident took place in Naira Marley’s presence.
Meanwhile, controversial activist Verydarkman has offered a cash reward for anyone who can provide additional footage of a music video shoot where Sam Larry stormed the set. In the clip, Sam Larry is seen walking in aggressively, holding a can, and vowing that Mohbad would not go unpunished.
The disturbing materials have reignited public outrage, with many fans and advocates renewing their calls for accountability and justice for the late artist.
