During a recent appearance on a podcast hosted by Nedu Wazobia and his co-hosts, 2Baba shed some light on the matter, expressing that both he and Annie had fully committed to making the marriage work.

“I think both of us gave it our best. Why we are not together is not something I’m going to start talking about here in the public,” he stated, opting to keep certain details private.

Despite the split, 2Baba had nothing but kind words for Annie, describing her as a remarkable woman and noting that they had simply reached the end of their journey as a couple.

“Me and her, we get our understanding. She’s amazing. Like I said earlier, it wasn’t just working no more. That’s just it,” he added.

In other news, Ghanaian actress and singer Efia Odo has addressed circulating rumours about her alleged deportation from the United States.

Speculation had been growing in parts of the Ghanaian media, suggesting the entertainer had been deported from the US.

A curious fan took to X (formerly Twitter) to question the actress, writing: “Efia, why were you deported? It’s been a while since you went back to the US.”

In response, Efia firmly denied the claims, revealing that she had been in New York for the past two weeks. She accompanied her post with a photo of herself in the city and wrote, “I’ve been in New York 2 weeks now. Y’all be too nosey.”
