Nigerian entrepreneur and fashion influencer Chioma Ikokwu, popularly known as Chioma Goodhair, has eased the concerns of fans and friends following a brief period of silence on social media.
The style icon revealed that she was caught in the middle of the recent missile airstrikes between Iran and Qatar. In a video shared online, Chioma narrated her frightening ordeal while en route to Qatar to celebrate her birthday.
According to her, the flight from Nigeria was nearing its destination when it had to be urgently diverted to Abu Dhabi due to safety concerns. She noted that the plane was unable to land for over two hours, and neither she nor the other passengers were aware of the escalating conflict in the region at the time.
Chioma explained that they were held in Abu Dhabi for about seven hours before finally being cleared to continue to Qatar after the airspace was reopened.
Despite the tense and unsettling experience, she later resumed her birthday celebration and posted clips capturing the special moments. In the caption, she acknowledged how traumatic the journey had been but expressed gratitude for arriving safely.
