Ekweremadu’s Wife Released from UK Prison, Returns to Nigeria
Mrs. Beatrice Ekweremadu, the wife of former Deputy Senate President Senator Ike Ekweremadu, has returned to Nigeria after a period of absence.
A reliable source confirmed her arrival on the 22nd of January, 2025, revealing that she landed back in the country on the 21st of January, 2025.
This comes after the Ekweremadu family faced a tumultuous chapter, as Senator Ike Ekweremadu, his wife, and Dr. Obinna Obeta were convicted in a UK court for their involvement in organ harvesting.
While the former Deputy Senate President was handed a 10-year sentence, Mrs. Ekweremadu received a six-year term.
