The vampire Armand is a pivotal player in Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles, and the twist ending of AMC's Interview with the Vampire finally introduced the legendary bloodsucker. Debuting in 2022, the newest reimagining of Anne Rice's classic novel follows journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian) who travels to Dubai to interview vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) who recounts his incredible life story. Capturing the sensuality, horror, and mystery that made Rice's novel so memorable, the show finally included much of the queer overtones that were largely ignored in other adaptations. AMC banked so heavily on the series that they actually renewed it before the first season actually aired.
