Hulu’s dramedy thriller The Other Black Girl includes an ending that’s as complex as it is compelling. Based on the eponymous novel by Zakiya Dalila Harris, this series follows an editorial assistant named Nella Rogers who starts out as the only Black woman working for Wagner Books. When the company hires another Black woman named Hazel-May McCall, they become quick friends due to their shared experiences as Black women in the corporate publishing business. Soon, strange events begin to occur, making Nella suspicious of her coworker.
