The Challenge season 39 cast has been announced, and it includes contestants from Big Brother and Survivor, along with returning champions, who will only make surprise appearances during eliminations. Hosted by TJ Lavin, The Challenge: Battle for a New Champion features 24 returning "contenders" who will compete for their first victory. They'll face a rotating lineup of surprise Challenge veterans during eliminations. The contenders have appeared on various versions of The Challenge.
