Seemingly unstoppable, this transformation lets Luffy fight with absolute freedom and bend reality to his whims, but the battle with Kaido showed that Gear 5 still has at least one weakness: cutting attacks. Chapter #1093 of One Piece confirmed this, proving that Gear 5 is not actually invincible.
