Sally and Dr. Finkelstein come to life in new cosplay inspired by Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Following on the success of his live-action feature films Beetlejuice, Batman and Edward Scissorhands, Burton in the early ‘90s threw his massive clout behind an entirely new and unlikely type of project: a macabre stop-motion animated Christmas movie. Released in 1993, the resulting film bore the unmistakable Burton stylistic stamp, and went on to become a big hit in its own right, grossing $91 million on a budget of $24 million.
