Currently, mutants are nearing extinction, as the human supremacist group Orchis enter the endgame of their plans. With the majority of mutants taken out during the Hellfire Gala's Mutant Massacre, and Stark-tech enabled Sentinels sweeping the Earth for the remaining members of homo superior, mutants need every friend they can get.
