The Expendables 4 makes Jacob Scipio's Galan the most important new character in the movie. Scipio joins 50 Cent and Megan Fox as the newest member of The Expendables and fills in for certain Expendables characters not in the film. A total of 9 franchise characters aren't in The Expendables 4, leaving some pretty big gaps in personality, tone, and humor to compensate for. Losing big stars like Harrison Ford, Antonio Banderas, Rhonda Rousey, and Arnold Schwarzenegger makes the film feel like the new cast has a lot of pressure to pick up the lack of chemistry.
