Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse fan art imagines Emma Stone appearing as a variant of the animated franchise's Gwen Stacy. Stone played Gwen Stacy in 2012's The Amazing Spider-Man and 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, with her character emotionally dying in the second film. While Spider-Man: No Way Home brought Andrew Garfield back as Peter Parker, Stone did not appear as Gwen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie.
