A 40-foot container has crushed a car (BMW Model) in the Magboro area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway after it fell off a trailer that was conveying it on Saturday.
An eyewitness in the area told Sunday PUNCH that the accident happened at midnight when a car parked along the road was affected.
“It happened at midnight and the man must have parked there because it was already late,” he said.
Meanwhile, two other 40ft containers were seen at the scene of the accident which fell on the same road.
Contacted, the spokesperson for the Ogun State, Federal Road Safety Corps, Florence Okpe, said, “The container is not affecting anything and I have spoken to the OC at Magboro and they are trying to remove the obstruction. No life was lost. Generally, it involved two trailers and a car.”
