Seagulls to continue to soar
After a historic campaign last year, Brighton have started this season in a similar vein, winning four of their opening five games as Roberto De Zerbi chases an unprecedented Champions League finish.

Brighton’s performances as well as their results have caught the eye, with the second goal at Old Trafford a real indication of the confidence De Zerbi has given his side. Starting with Jason Steele, it was a 30-pass sequence, with everyone on the team bar Adam Lallana having a touch in the build-up. To go to Old Trafford—a place Manchester United only lost once last season—and to play like that shows how good Brighton are.
Andoni Iraola won plaudits for his performances as Rayo Vallecano manager, leading them to the first division, the last four of the national cup, and the brink of Europe. He then switched sunny Spain for Bournemouth and is implementing his unique style of play, which will take time.
As of yet, the Cherries have yet to record a win, losing to Liverpool and Tottenham and drawing with Brentford, Chelsea, and West Ham.
Brighton did the double over Bournemouth last season, winning 1-0 and 0-2. We expect them to repeat this on Saturday.

Pedro to continue rich vein of form
After joining for a club-record £30 million fee from Watford in the summer, Joao Pedro has impressed in his two starts and three substitute appearances. The 21-year-old was signed after a strong season at Watford, scoring 11 and assisting four goals in 31 starts for a weakened Hornets side.
Capable of playing in the number-ten role on the wing and upfront, the Brazilian’s versatility is crucial with Brighton’s hectic schedule. He excels with the ball at his feet, driving at opponents, showing a nice turn of pace, and having the strength to hold off opponents.
He scored on his debut against Luton, scoring the penalty he won. Pedro was also unlucky to not score again. The 21-year-old then added to his goal tally, scoring an exquisite finish off the bench in the 3-1 win at Old Trafford.
With talented creative players such as Kaoru Mitoma and Solly March supplying him, we expect Joao Pedro to score his third goal of the season against a Bournemouth side without a win thus far.

Aarons to be booked
The final market we will look at is the player to be carded market. Max Aarons arrived at Bournemouth after a number of impressive years at Norwich.
Before making the switch to the South Coast, the 23-year-old had accumulated 18 yellows in his last 76 starts over the past two campaigns- an average of a yellow every 4.22 games. This season, he has only got one card in five games- a yellow for dissent against Brentford.
Aarons has made at least one foul in every league game this season and faces the threat of Pervis Estupinan and Karou Mitoma facing him down the flank. Mitoma has been fouled an average of 1.4 times per game this season, while Estupinan is also a constant attacking threat down the left wing.
In the return fixture last year, right back Adam Smith was booked for a foul on Mitoma, showing the trouble that the Japanese winger causes right backs. Thus far this season, Bournemouth have picked up four yellows for time-wasting and dissent.
Bournemouth’s timewasting tactics added to the attacking threat of Mitoma and Estupinan means Aarons looks likely for a card.
