While Beetlejuice maintains its legacy as one of the greatest horror-comedies of all time, the Tim Burton film still leaves plenty of unanswered story questions and external mysteries 35 years later. With Beetlejuice occuring in the complex, rule-laden dual worlds of the living and the dead, the eccentric, entertaining story of two new ghosts seeking assistance to haunt a family out of their home isn’t as simple as it appears to be. As such, there are plenty of aspects of the movie – both internally and externally – that fail to make sense.
