Twilight, Interview with the Vampire, and Dracula are just a few of the vampire movies based on books (Dracula has been adapted dozens of times, in one form or another), but there are many more vampire books that still need movies. The exploration of immortality as either a coveted superpower or a monstrous curse takes on many different forms in literature, from satirical urban fantasy to dark, brooding gothic literature. There's a type of vampire for every fan, whether they sparkle in daylight or can't let the sun touch their skin for fear of bursting into flames.
