The latest trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom suggests that the titular "tears" may be physical objects, having shown no less than four of the mysterious items from a total of seven. These artifacts will doubtlessly be central to the story of Tears of the Kingdom, although little is known about them at present. However, it is apparent that they will hold great significance to the people of Hyrule, especially given the context in which they appear.
