HBO's The Last of Us showrunner Craig Mazin recently explained why he is proud that the series was review bombed. Although the horror drama series drew record viewership numbers, a portion of the audience targeted the series with harsh negative reviews. IMDb saw episode 3 and episode 7 hit with disproportionally low scores compared to the other episodes within the season. As a result, the two episodes hold the lowest ratings of the series with an 8.0 and a 7.4 respectively.
