Netflix’s Virgin River is known for the dramatic exploits of its cast of characters, but it is possible that the show could lose one of three characters after season 5. Based on the romance books by Robyn Carr, Virgin River follows nurse practitioner Mel Monroe, who moves to the town for a new beginning, working for Doc Mullins after the death of her husband. Mel quickly becomes an integral part of the town’s community, which includes her getting roped into the small town’s rampant dramatic happenings, and this has already led to surprising character exits in past seasons.
