A group of Ph.D. students and Computer Science professors at the University of Chicago has developed a free tool that helps artists protect their artwork from AI art generators. With the advent of text-to-image tools like Midjourney, DALL-E, and Stable Diffusion, artists are facing a hard time safeguarding their creations from AI models that train off the style and elements in their original work. Some artists have even filed a lawsuit against these image generators that copy their individual styles and allow others to replicate them.
