Oyebanji mourns ex-Ekiti deputy gov, Egbeyemi

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, on Saturday expressed condolences on the passing of a former deputy governor of the state, Bisi Egbeyemi.

Egbeyemi, a renowned teacher and lawyer, died last Friday after a brief illness at the age of 79.

Oyebanji, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yinka Oyebode, titled, “Oyebanji mourns death of Ekiti ex-Deputy Governor, Bisi Egbeyemi”, described the late political leader as a respected community leader, man of honour, and a father figure to many.

The governor was quoted as saying, “Baba ran a good race, served our dear state with his time, talent, and resources, and etched his name in gold as a man of honour, an excellent team player, and a seasoned administrator.

“We shall miss his amiable personality and wise counsel.
