France: Three Muslim migrants arrested as police intercept large weapons delivery
Investigators suspect that these weapons “were intended for Toulouse delinquents,” who are themselves largely Muslim migrants. For some of these, the overall goal is to destabilize the state and ultimately replace it with an Islamic state.

The transaction was interrupted by the gendarmes. A large delivery of weapons was intercepted on Tuesday in the parking lot of a hotel in Tarbes (Hautes-Pyrénées), Frédérique Porterie, the public prosecutor of Bordeaux, announced this Friday in a press release.
This flagrante delicto was carried out jointly by the soldiers of the Toulouse Research Section, following an investigation carried out by the Specialized Interregional Jurisdiction (Jirs) of Bordeaux. It made it possible to arrest three suspects, Turkish nationals, and to get their hands on “45 handguns with fifteen-round magazines.”
These weapons, which investigators suspect were intended for Toulouse delinquents, “represent a market value of several tens of thousands of euros and above all a significant threat to the safety of people,” underlines the magistrate.
The first investigations show that these weapons, originally intended to fire blank ammunition or gas cartridges, have been modified “with real know-how” to become lethal. The three suspects were brought this Friday before the Bordeaux prosecutor’s office, which requested their placement in pre-trial detention. An investigating judge has been apprised of the results of the investigation.
