Even though Poppy Playtime's villains tend to assume the form of children's toys, they are unfortunately the furthest thing from playful or comforting in-game, and a few in particular take the cake as the scariest monsters in Playtime Co. Their character designs might not be too creepy at a surface level, but when combined with the dark history behind the company, the atmosphere of the environment, and the situations in which players encounter these beasts, Poppy Playtime's monsters quickly become a force to be reckoned with, cementing them as some of the most iconic faces in modern indie horror.
