Orlu senatorial zone: Labour Party candidate, Ahize,  moves to save roads in senatorial district

After seeing numerous pictures of gully erosion sites and dilapidated roads in some communities in the Orlu Senatorial zone, the Labour Party (LP) candidate for Imo West Senatorial District in the forthcoming February 25, general elections, Chief Charles Ugochukwu Ahize-Chukwu, has moved into action to salvage the bad roads as a personal sacrifice for his people.

His action stemmed from his resolve to stop further deterioration of the road, which was causing untold hardship to his people.

According to an eyewitness reporter, who monitored the state of the roads, the “rave of the moment and frontline candidate for the coveted seat of Orlu Senatorial zone, Charles Ahize, has continued to dispassionately endear himself to the  grassroots with his people-oriented projects  and programmes which serve as a fulcrum to decipher his burning desire to represent his beloved primary constituency in the National Assembly  Orlu zone.

“Penultimate weekend ; the established entrepreneur and  broadminded politician, Ahize, officially flagged-off the construction of a 2.5km road in Oburuekwe Autonomous Community in Isu LGA, Imo State;  after  grading the road that was  abandoned for decades  in a senatorial zone where our elected representatives at  the National Assembly paid lips service to rural development and youth productive engagement.

“However, while the tempo and euphoria of this road construction flag-off is yet to settle down on the minds of obviously elated Ekwe people in Isu LGA: Chief Charles Ahize (today) on  Thursday, January 18, 2023, approved millions of naira to  mobilize men and materials to site,  giving  directives for the grading of the most  disturbing  Ùmùagwó /Úmúapú road to Port Harcourt,  along  Bethel Estate.

“This heart-warming good news elicited  positive  reactions among youths of these two neighbouring communities who have vowed to support Peter Obi’s presidential ambition even as they unanimously extended the same love and show of solidarity to Labour Party’s frontline candidate for Orlu Senatorial zone,  Chief Charles Ahize;  whose politics of humanity has endeared him to the people at the grassroots while the other man is waiting for some kind of political magic at his Transcorp Hilton ‘s luxurious apartment in Abuja.

“Chief Charles Ahize is the predicted  sign of better things to come in Orlu Zone.

“He belongs to the new order of a productive and prosperous Nigeria under the leadership of  Mr. Peter Obi as president.”
