Clues 90 Day Fiancé's Kim Menzies & Usman 'Sojaboy' Umar Are Faking Split

90 Day Fiancé couple Kim Menzies and Usman “Sojaboy” Umar could still be together after the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 7 Tell-All by faking their split. 52-year-old Kim from San Diego became a fangirl of Usman after his reality TV debut on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 4. Usman was then married to Lisa Hamme. He came close to wedding Kim, but in the HEA finale, they broke up.

Kim was the one who slid into Usman’s DMs first, and when Usman kept resisting her advances, she wooed him with expensive gifts. Usman conveniently said yes to being Kim’s boyfriend at the end of their B90 season 5 storyline. When the then-engaged couple returned in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Kim was going to meet Usman’s mom to receive her blessing. Usman, however, wanted a child and thought of taking a second wife, later deciding to adopt his brother’s son. Kim also found out Usman had taken a liking to the 18-year-old woman his mom made him meet and even asked for her phone number.

She took off her ring, I [kept] it, and that’s it,” Usman shared during the Tell-All, confirming Kim had ended their engagement. “I’ll always be a Super Fan, and we’ll see what happens later on,” Kim admitted. She made it clear she wants to meet the man of her dreams. “But I must say that I love him,” Kim added.

Still, there are several clues that suggest Kim and Usman remain a couple. They still have each other’s photos on their Instagram pages. Usman referred to Kim’s son Jamal Menzies as his “stepson” in a post from December 2022, and Jamal in turn, told Usman, “Happy birthday dad.” Besides, Usman has been giving Kim support as she’s remembered her mother and sister, both of whom have passed.

I think Usman used her to stay relevant,” Jamal said during the Tell-All. “I think Usman low-key played the f*** out of my mom,” he alleged. However, there is a chance Kim and Usman are both in cahoots about the “staying relevant” plan. Usman was supposed to be on the show with his ex Zara, and Kim was someone he chose to go with after his girlfriend broke up with him.

There is a chance Kim agreed to do the show for money and Usman for money and fame, which he’s received by getting cast in not one but two seasons. Kim could marry Usman to bring him to the U.S., which would take him one step closer to fulfilling his dream of becoming an international superstar.

Through Kim and Usman’s storyline, even Jamal has earned a fair amount of clout. Jamal quickly became a fan-favorite and got a chance to feature in Pillow Talk. He recently made an appearance in 90 Day: The Single Life as Veronica Rodriguez’s love interest and might be starring in the next season of the spin-off. There are suspicions that Jamal and Veronica’s relationship is a publicity stunt. Either way, 90 Day Fiancé has been a win-win for Kim, Usman, and the supporting characters in their storyline. It’s very much possible they will be seen again trying to reconcile in a new 90 Day Fiancé show, as Usman prepares to come to America.
