Belmont County Staying Clean Program Receives OVCS Grant | News, Sports, Jobs

Belmont County Juvenile and Probate Judge Albert Davies, Martins Ferry Police Chief John McFarland, members of Classy Chassis and juvenile court staff recently met to accept a $1,000 donation from Ohio Valley Christian Soldiers. OVCS has supported Belmont County Schools’ Staying Clean program annually since 2017. The 2023 Classy Chassis Car Show will take place on September 9 at the Ohio Valley Mall, also to benefit the program. According to McFarland, the program has drug-tested more than 1,700 participating student members so far this school year. Last year donations totaled $30,258.53 from the car show.
