Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has decried the loud silence greeting the killing of Northerners in Imo State.
NewsNGR recalls that unknown gunmen believed to be members of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra had reportedly attacked Oroge community and killed about seven northerners.
The incident reportedly happened on Monday.
Reacting, Omokri wondered why nobody is talking about the killing, arguing that if it were to be in Kano, the social media would have been on fire by now.
He tweeted, “Why is nobody talking about the attack on Northerners in Imo, which led to the death of 8 Nigeriens, and the injury of many Northerners? Our selective outrage is a disservice to our nation. Southern Twitter and media just ignored it. Would we ignore if it was Kano?”
